Eating lunch at The Carter at Main was terrific. It's a beautiful comfortable setting. You feel like your walking into someones home. The staff were like old friends. Our server told us a little history of the old house. I was fascinated. It was a little like going back in time. The food was fantastic. We had fried green tomatoes WOW!! The prices were very reasonable. I remember thinking.. I could afford to eat here. I will recommend this place as often as I can. It was the most interesting lunch I've had in years.
