  Automotive is my life and history. Look up my name, Larry Sheldrick and you will find my name sake and great uncle, Henry Ford's chief engineer. I actually service the vehicle myself because of my passion so I invite you to please read on.We offer the latest diagnostic hardware and software on site with the knowledge to use it. Volvo owners will appreciate the fact we use "VIDA" which is Volvo Factory Software for everything about the vehicle. We include VW and Audi with our unique information abilities such as being able to see even the exact day the car was "born" on the assembly line and everything that was installed in the vehicle that day.We believe correct Factory supplied information is the vital key allowing us to properly service your investment with the very latest information along with new vehicle software upgrades when needed or desired by the owner to improve a vehicle's functions.We accept work ranging from oil changes to full service following factory procedures and using quality OE and OEM parts so that the vehicle warranty is not jeopardized. We utilize factory equipment and tooling ( for specialized tasks ) to accomplish the service/repair procedures properly the first time.We are proficient in drivability and computer electronic type problems for all management systems found in today's advanced and complicated vehicles. We will eliminate those annoying problems robbing you of the trust and goodwill towards your vehicle in a dependability sense.Flight ( as you drive ) recording for up to 12 hours with rewrite. One of only many true analytical testing capabilities that we utilize so as not to waste your time and money.Larry's Performance Werks is an Authorized Bosch Car Service facility. In brief, we are very different from other independent car facilities because we were chosen in 1991 by one of the industries leading OE factory suppliers to represent this level of service. We still to date maintain this relationship with Robert Bosch Corporation, europes largest OE electronic/electrical supplier.We are a small, personal, strong and stable company serving the Greater Asheville Area for 38 years to this date. Some of our customers have chosen us to serve their automotive needs for over 32 years. We've operated for last 27 years with just 3 people. Myself, my loving wife Jeannette, and Clark Bell, our faithful worker since he was 19 years old, now 46. This should speaks volumes about us and our personal touch we give your car.What is now the parts, customer waiting area, office, machining, unit repair / assembly and engine dynamometer room was once the North Asheville Post Office. The 'other side' of our split level building has always been an automotive facility incorporating such rare things as a chassis dynamometer back in the 50's.

  I should premise that - THE Mechanic if you happen to drive a VW, Porsche, Audi, Mercedes or Volvo. We've been using Larry for years now for Volvo service, and will never look toward Hunter again.\r \r Larry and Clark are consummate…
